Vinograf – Vinohrady
A wine bar in the neighbourhood literally named after wine. Excellent Czech and Moravian wines, knowledgeable staff, and a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere.
Cross Club – Holešovice
A multi-level industrial venue filled with moving mechanical sculptures and neon lights. The bar is in the basement; the club is above. Looks like something from a steampunk novel. Genuinely unmissable.
Best Clubs in Prague 2026
Ankali – Smíchov
Prague's most respected electronic music club. Serious international DJs, excellent sound, and a crowd genuinely there for the music. In a former factory space — not the most obvious location, which is exactly why it works.
Kasárna Karlín – Karlín
A former military barracks transformed into one of Prague's most interesting cultural spaces — outdoor concerts, club nights, food markets, and events in a beautiful courtyard. The summer programme is particularly good.
Vzorkovna – Old Town
A sprawling underground club with multiple rooms and different music in each. One of the few Old Town venues that's genuinely good rather than just convenient.
Jazz & Live Music in Prague
Jazz Dock – Smíchov
The best jazz venue in Prague, built on a floating platform on the Vltava river. Live jazz every night, excellent cocktails, and views of the river and bridges. One of the most memorable evening experiences in the city.
Reduta Jazz Club – New Town
The oldest jazz club in Prague, running since 1958. Bill Clinton played here in 1994. Intimate, atmospheric, and a genuine Prague institution. Book ahead on weekends.

T-Anker – New Town
A rooftop bar above the Palladium shopping centre with panoramic views of the Old Town and Prague Castle. Unpretentious, affordable, and genuinely spectacular — one of the best-value views in the city.
The Prague Beer Experience
Czech beer is the best in the world — the Czech Republic has the highest per-capita beer consumption on earth. Pilsner Urquell, Kozel, Bernard, Matuka — the range of excellent Czech beers in Prague is extraordinary.
The key: find a pub that takes its beer seriously. A properly poured Czech pivo — slow, with a thick creamy head — is a completely different drink. Lokál is the gold standard. Žižkov's neighbourhood pubs are the most authentic.
